As for the B6 engine, it features 295 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque plus the same 13 horsepower from the mild-hybrid system. Again, you get more horsepower than the previous engine, but you also get better fuel economy. Indeed, the 2022 Volvo XC60 averages 9.4 L per 100 km with the B5 powertrain, and 9.9 L per 100 km with the B6 engine. Both powertrains averaged less than 9 L per 100 km on the highway.
